can you check my answers:
estimate w/mixednumbers:

8) 9 1/11 - 3 7/9
i got:
9 - 4 = 5

9) 4 1/2 - 1 24/25
i got:
4 - 2 = 2

12) 9 8/10 + 8 2/10
i got:
10 + 8 = 18

14) 4 5/9 + 5 9/10
i got:
4 + 6 = 10

All are correct -- except your teacher might expect a different answer for 14.

If you round these fractions, 4 5/9 is more than 4 1/2 so it could be rounded to 5.
