A gallon of stain covers 200 sq ft. How many gallons are needed for 2 coats of on deck that is 20ft by 45ft?

A = LW
A = 20 * 45

A = 900 sq. ft

(900 * 2) / 200 = ____________ gallons needed

Get your square footage of the room (20*45)=900 and then multiplying it by 2 we get 1800 sq. ft. One gallon will cover 200 sq. ft. so then we divide the aquare footage we need to cover by the 200 and we get 9 gallons.
