use partial fractions:
x/(x+1)^2 + 4
= 1/(x+1) - 1/(x+1)^2 + 4
Integral is just
ln(x+1) + 1/(x+1) + 4x
x/(x+1)^2 + 4
= 1/(x+1) - 1/(x+1)^2 + 4
Integral is just
ln(x+1) + 1/(x+1) + 4x
