B+G=33
B-5=G
or
B+G=33
B-G=5
then solve. I would solve by adding the equations, or
2B=38 then solve.

Ms. Sue
x + x + 5 = 33
2x = 33 - 5
2x = 28
x = 14
Proof:
14 + 19 = 33
2x = 33 - 5
2x = 28
x = 14
Proof:
14 + 19 = 33
