A white rose plant has 3 time as many blooms as red.Togher they are 48 ,which of following number of bloom on white rose.

i don't rembered the second question excatly word by word , it come in test and i got wrong. plz help

First problem.

16 can't be right.

x + 3x = 48

4x = 48

x = 12

Check it out.

12 red + 36 white = 48

Your second problem doesn't make sense to me. Tax rates are not 85%
