How would you graphy this question and also solve for the intercepts:
y=2(x-3)^2-1
y=2(x-3)^2-1

I'd graph it by
a) recognizing that it is a parabola, opening up
b) noting the vertex is at (3,-1)
c) the y-intercept is (0,17)
d) so, by symmetry is (6,17)
That should enable you to sketch the graph
x-intercepts are where
x = 3 +/- 1/√2
