                What is the differance between a discrete graph and a continuous graph?

    In a continous graph, all points are connected.  In discrete, they may not be.
Here is an example of a discrete graph
0<x<4 and 4<x<12435
Notice at the value of 4, the lines do not connect from one segment to another.
