Asked by Conjugate Beam Method
How do you determine what distance to use to sum the moment in the loaded portion of a conjugate beam? I think on the shear portions that you use [2/3]*L (center of mass for a constant density triangle), but I have no idea what to use for the... bending moment?

You can sum moments about any point. The distance is from that arbritrary point to the load.
