                Assuming that Big Foot's bones are made of the ordinary ape, do you think his bones can support his weight? why or why not?

    If "Big Foot" is larger than the "ordinary ape", then its "ordinary" bones will be too small for its body. This is no way to teach algebra.  
If the larger animal has longer bones but the same diameter as the smaller. the larger animal will experience higher stress in the bone material due to its larger weight. You would need to know about strength of materials to conclude this.
