I need help with the second question:

A student is taking a multiple choice exam. There are five possible answers for each question.

What is the probability the student will answer the first question correctly? Answer is 1/5

What is the probability that the student will answer the first question incorrectly?

2 answers

you're kidding, right?

If the chance of a correct answer is 1/5, the chance of a wrong answer is 1 - 1/5.
Got it. 4/5 is the answer. I'm making this probability problems harder than it should be.
Thanks!
