I am unclear what the 42 ft. represents. Is it radius, diameter, circumference??
Regardless, you need to take the radius (the distance to the center of the circle) and square it (or times it by itself). Take this number and multiply by 22, then divide by 7. 22/7 is just another way of writing 3.14. Good luck!
