Farmer Jackson plowed a field at the top of a hill and then had a crop dusting plane spray weed killer on the field. After a few days, he noticed that there were still a lot of weeds in the field. He noticed that weeds in a field that was located right below the hill had died. Farmer Jackson did not have weed killer sprayed on the field below the hill. Either wind or water erosion probably washed the soil and weed killer to the lower level.
