20. Calculate the range, variance, and standard deviation of the following data set:
5, 5, 6, 6, 6, 8, 8, 8, 8, 10, 10, 11, 12, 12, 20
(Points: 5)
Range = 15; Variance = 225; Standard Deviation = 7.5
Range = 3.85; Variance = 14; Standard Deviation = 3.74
Range = 20; Variance = 15; Standard Deviation = 4
Range = 15; Variance = 14.82; Standard Deviation = 3.85

Find the mean first = sum of scores/number of scores
Subtract each of the scores from the mean and square each difference. Find the sum of these squares. Divide that by the number of scores to get variance.
Standard deviation = square root of variance
Range = highest score - lowest
I'll let you do the calculations.

First, if you have a question, it is much better to put it in as a separate post in <Post a New Question> rather than attaching it to a previous question, where it is more likely to be overlooked.
