Why did the first americans migrate to the amercias. Where did they come from and what were they following?

I really don't need a huge history about this qs. I just need to write 2-3 sentences to answer this qs.

Please help me I really don't get this.

Since there are no written records for this time, we believe that the first Americans migrated here from northeastern Asia. They were nomadic hunters and gatherers and followed herds of animals across the Bering land bridge.
