if a bag weighing 9.4 kg is dropped 1m to someone below to catch,what is the total weight that the person would actually catch??

Scientists do not use kg to measure weight.

The force that the bag exerts upon the person catching it is higher since it must be decelerated. It will depend upon the deceleration rate, as Damon has pointed out.
