how would you find the median of these numbers 5600, 4800, 4000, 3200?

Put your data in order from smallest to largest. The median is the middle number. In this case or anytime you have an even amount of data where there is not one munber in the middle, take the two middle numbers, add them together, then divide them by 2. This will give you your median.
