1a. What would it cost for ingredients , per cookie, to make 100 cookies?
C=100/4x-28 is the equation given to find the cost.

How about
C = 100(4*100) - 28
Frankly, it looks wrong, since C<0
When x=1, C = -3, and it keeps getting more and more negative as x increases.
Typo somewhere?

The cost is equal to 100 over 4x minus 28.
