having trouble with finding the rise.
slope is 0.40 run is 130 the set up is
.040=rise

slope = rise/run

rise = slope * run = .04 * 130 = 5.2

For a slop of 0.4

0.4 = rise/130
Solve for rise.

It looks like you have accidentally moved the decimal in your line:
.040=rise
