How do i find the slope and y- intercept of 5X+2Y=7 ?

2 answers

y=mx+b and m is the slope
rearrange the equation so you can find what y equals. in this case you would rearrange it to equal y=-5x/2+7/2. so your slope is -5/2.
y- intercept is b in the formula y=mx+b
hence your y intercept is 7/2.
