RAMON PLANTED 3 ROWS OF SEEDS. EACH ROW HAD 8 SEEDS. THE SEEDS WERE 42 INCHES LONG. HOW FAR APART SHOULD HE PLANT THE SEEDS?

I think you mean the rows were 42" long.
8 seeds in each row means a starting seed, and then seven more intervals.
42/7 = 6" apart in each row.
Don't have any idea why 3 rows makes any difference.
