what is a gerund
Answered by Writeacher
A gerund is a verb form that acts like a noun.

Swimming is my favorite sport.
("Swimming" is a gerund, serving as the subject in that sentence.)

You cannot let auto-correct do things for you. You need to ALWAYS be in control ... checking everything before you SEND or POST.
