how do i find how long the steel is in a 156 kg coil of sheet steel that is .80 mm thick and 50 cm wide.

Use density.
volume= Length*thickness*width
mass= density*volume
156kg=densitysteel*length*thickness*width
length= 156kg/(density*thickness*width)
look up density of steel. Watch units. thickenss is in mm,width is in cm, density will be in whateverunits.
