Big sense of guilt (is big appropriate?)

2. Elizabeth's ships were lightweight and fast, whereas the Spanish ships were heavy and slow. These differences contributed to the success of the English fleet.

3. OK

I wouldn't use "big" in this context. I'd use "heavy" or "great."
