Tan<sup>-1</sup>(0.49) is not one of those which have exact answers. You will have to resort to a calculator or a table of tangents.
On a calculator, enter 0.49 and press the button tan<sup>-1</sup>, which is usually preceded by a yellow key, and is written above the tan key. I get about 26°.

On ur calculator there’s a “tan” button, u need to find the “tan -1” button by either pressing “2nd” or smt like that. Then u should see “tan -1 (“ write the number and close the brackets, u should get ur degree, hope it helps :)
