2) The upper stage was used to represent a balcony scene/as a balcony/OR to represent a balcony.
3)The shows were about one penny for a place in the ground, two pennies for galleries. Correction: to go and stand in the yard cost about one penny whereas to sit in one of the galleries cost two pennies.
4)Lady Macbeth becomes/goes mad/becomes (but not goes) mentally ill. She sleepwalks in her castle. The witches tell Banquo that he will father a line of kings.
5)He doesn’t feel safe because of the witches’ prophecy to Banquo.They used the branches as (a) camouflage to cover their advance.

Why don't you simply settle on ONE way to write it, without adding extraneous material in parentheses? I often lose the main thought with all the extras.
