Is it possible to own a home or apartment in some areas without having to pay utilities, making for a less stressful life? If anyone says no, I don't want to feel bad for asking this because I'm a little worried about it.

I don't know of any homes or apartments in which the tenants don't have to pay utilities. I pay heat and electricity, but not water and sewer in my apartment.

While I may want the heat turned up to 75, others are perfectly comfortable at 65.

Wow, I kind of remember that you're retired from last year and you still pay for two utilities. It kind of feels like you're owing money, especially water. It's the one thing that every human needs to survive and there's a price on it.

Think about what happens to that water. It's collected, treated, and shipped to my building. After I use it, it's collected and shipped away to be cleaned and perhaps recycled. I'd rather pay for that than dip it out of a possibly polluted stream or pay for a well and pump.

Does it matter who pays for these expenses, based on the person's occpation (ex. professional athlete, actor, singer, TV broadcaster) because they're well known?

I'm sure the well-known also pay for their utilities.

How would you know, Ms. Sue? That would be crazy if someone like for example, Cameron Diaz's name is on a bill. I don't think that politicians like President Barack Obama, Vice-President Joe Biden, governors, and mayors would do that.

If they live in state or federally owned housing, then these people probably don't pay for their own utilities. We, the people, pay for them with our taxes.

Sadly, no one pays for Cameron's utilities. I guess I'll have to live life this way.
