I need to solve S=180n-360 for n and need to show work. Help

Just recall that your goal is to get "n" all by itself on one side of the equation. To do that, collect all the "n" stuff on one side, and all the numbers on the other.
Key: If an equation is true, then it remains true as long as you do the same thing to both sides of the equation.
S = 180n - 360
S+360 = 180n -360+360 = 180n
(S+360)/180 = 180n/180 = n
S/180 + 2 = n
