Kate baked 3 pies for a family reunion. She cut each pie into 8 slices. the family ate 2/3 of the pies. How many slices of pie were eaten? And how would i show it if i had to show the pies?

Draw three pies. Show how each pie was cut into 8 pieces.
You'd have 3 * 8 = 24 pieces.
(2/3) * 24 = 48/3 = 16
