How many minutes are there in 1 century?

This is not a trivial question. The issue boils down to how long is a year. Because we adjust clocks (leap seconds) and leap years (days in the year), the actual time elapsed does not follow what we predict by a standard solar year.
Each four years, we add a day to the clock.
Each year, we add .6 seconds to the clock.
So in 100 years, we add 25 days, and 60 seconds.
days in a century= 365*100+25+ ...1min
hours in a century= (36525*24)+ ...1min
minutes in a century= 36525*24*60+1
I suspect this is not what your teacher wanted, but it is correct.
