I can't quite solve this question.

Of 98 bicycles in a bike rack, 67 are mountain bikes. What fraction of the bicycles are not mountain bikes?

98 - 67 = 31

31/98 are not mountain bikes.

98-67=31 so, 31/91 are mountian bikes
in english that means this:
you have 97 bikes
67 are mountain bikes,yes?
you want to figure out how many are not mountain bikes, right?
you simply subtract 67(# of moutain bikes) from 98(total # of bikes)...
that will tellyou how many bikes are left
the number of bikes left are mountain bikes
