People pay federal income tax on the money they earn.

Usually the employer deducts a certain amount from each pay check and sends it to the government. But the newspaper doesn't do that, so Emilio must pay the tax himself when he files his federal income tax forms in April.

Mrs. Sue can you just give the correct answers and not joke around. obviously some of the questions aren't seen in the text book, this question in fact is critical which has to do with thinking. and you give out horrible answers the majority of the time. i put it on the exam thing and got a low score because of your mistake. please don't give out wrong answers if you don't know.
