First you have ten numbers, so the denominator of the fraction is 10.

There are 5 odd numbers in this set. That's the numerator.

Since 5 out of 10 numbers are odd, the fraction is 5/10.

thats what i thought but, i understood that the denominator was 9 so i got a lil confused.
