Plot data, preform interpolations or extrapolations, determine slope of best line, determine y intercept. Write equation of the line.
T in Kelvins40.0 70.0 100.0 120.0 0
V in ml 250.0 430.0 610.0 730.0 0
Value of V at T= 50.0?
Value of T when V= 800.0?
1.So, I made a graph with Vol.(vertical axis) from 0-50-100-150-200-etc to 1000. then the horz. axis in T in Kelvins 0-20-40-60 etc.
2. Do I put points at intersection of 250.0and40.0, 430.0an70.0 etc ???
3. Unsure what to do next??
Do I subtract 70.0-40=30
120.0-100.0=20
430.0-250.0=180
730.0-610=120
4. Unsure and stuck?
Please help! Thank you so much!

2. Yes. That's how you plot a curve.
3. slope = delta Y/delta X. 30/180 will give you the slope between those two points although that may not be the best line you can draw for the data.
4. For the value of T at V of 800, that point is ABOVE your data points; therefore you must extrapolate. Draw the best line you can through the other points (or at least close to most of them), then extend the line at the top up to 800, read T at that point.
