look at the units. You want to convert speed to time. So, speed already relates distance to time: m/s

But you want to end up with sec, not m, so divide meters by meters/sec to end up with sec.

m / (m/s) = m * s/m = s

They've only given you two pieces of data, so work with them:

227m / (490m/s) = 227 / 490 s = 0.46 s
