Y - (5/8) + (5/8) = 1/4 + 5/8
Y = (2/8) + (5/8)
y = 7/8

how you got 2/8 + 5/8 how you made the denominators 8 ?
We need a common denominator.
8/4 = 2 -- so 1/4 = 2/8
