I was very tired, but it was great to be in Antarctica. Everything was covered with snow. It was so beautiful.
(What does "It" refer to in the last sentence? Does it refer to 'Antarctica' or 'everything' or 'snow'?)

Hmm this is pretty tricky. I guess it means everything. As antartica and the snow.
