What were some of the major achievements in the U.S. during this time period? I know they founded the continents, but I do not know the specifications.

Also, were there any major literary movements developed during this period period?

First no one "founded" the continents. They were here long, long before there were any people on earth.

The Native Americans were the first people to inhabit the Americas.

Basically there were no literary movements (except for oral traditions) because the people hadn't developed writing.
