last question, what is the most affective way to solve for slope when involving ordered pairs, ex.
(8,-9) (2,-1) i learned this in class today, but information doesn't stick well in my head :)

(y-y1)/(x-x1).(the ones are sub ones and mean a different y and a different x.....so.
-9-(-1) / 8-2
-9+1 / 6
-8 / 6
-4/3
slope = -4/3
