The media you need has .9% NaCl and 2% glucose. How would you make 1 L of this solution?

Is that %w/w or %w/v? I will assume w/v since you don't give a density.
0.9% = 0.9g/100 mL or 9.0g/L
2% = 2g/100 mL or 20g/L
So weigh 9.0g NaCl and 20.0g sucrose, add to some water in a 1L volumetric flask, shake until all of the solute is dissolved, then make to the mark with distilled water.
