I'm so stuck-this stuff is so far above me right now-Please help where do I even start? Any hint would be so helpful-

(3x^3-5^2+6x-9)/(x+5)

or can someone direct me to a site that can solve this and show the steps-I don't even know where to start

3x^3 + 6x -34 / x + 5

I have a feeling that your second term in the numerator is supposed to be -5x^2

If so, I performed a synthetic division to get

(3x^3-5x^2+6x-9)/(x+5) = 3x^2 - 20x + 106 - 539/(x+5)

Long Algebraic Division will yield the same result
