Jose traveled to San Diego at an average rate of 50 mph. Carlos made the same trip in one hour less time at an average rate of 60 mph. Find the distance of the trip.

going --> 50mph time = X distance=50X
coming--> 60mph time = X-1 distance=60(x-1)

50X = 60X-60
-10X = -60
X = 6 miles
