    for x-intercept , let y = 0
x^2 + 0 + 0 - 2x + 0 = 8
x^2 - 2x - 8 = 0
(x-4)(x+2) = 0
x = 4 or x = -2
so the x-intercepts are (4,0), and (-2,0)
for the y-intercepts, let x = 0
0+y^2 + 0 - 0 + 7y =8
