-6a-4a^2-2(10a^2+3a)

evaluate -10+x divide by 2(9-x^2) for x=-6

1 answer

-6a-4a^2-2(10a^2+3a)=

-6a-4a^2-20a^2-6a=

-24a^2-12a = -12a(2a+1)

for x=-6

-10+x= -10-6 = -16 = - 2*8

2(9-x^2)= 2[9-(-6)^2] = 2(9-36)=2*(-27= -54

(-10+x)/[ 2(9-x^2)] = (-16)/(-54)= (2*8)/(2*27)= 8/27
