I see education as such a critical force to "arm children" and combat them into feeling empowered as individuals, not just a face or sheep in the crowd. Although education does a lot to promote team work and collaboration, I also feel that it serves kids with ample social skills and areas of character education traits into knowing what's right and wrong morally and ethically, too. Helping children to take a stand against bullies is a recurrent theme, I feel, in most schools today. I feel like schools are doing a more proactive job of helping kids to make wise choices.
