take log of both sides
log(4^(3-x)) = log 7
(3-x)log4 = log7
3-x = log7/log4
-x = -3 + log7/log4
x = 3 - log7/log4
= appr. 1.5963
log(4^(3-x)) = log 7
(3-x)log4 = log7
3-x = log7/log4
-x = -3 + log7/log4
x = 3 - log7/log4
= appr. 1.5963
