Find the slope of any line parallel to the line passing through G(2,-3) and H(-1,4).

I believe the answer is 7/-3, but was wondering if it should be written

7/-3 = -7/3 = -(7/3)

makes no difference, some textbooks and authors stay away from having negatives in the denominator.
