recall sin x = cos (π/2 - x) or sin x = cos(90°-x)

so y = sin (2x + π/4)
= cos (π/2 - 2x - π/4)
= cos (-2x + π/4)
= cos (2x - π/4) , because cos (-x) = cos x

so , not true
