Divisions of complex numbers are expected to be rationalized, i.e. no presence of "i" in the denominator.
So multiply both numerator and denominator of the "fraction" by the conjugate of the denominator:
(8-3i)/(-4-6i)
=(8-3i)(-4+6i)/[(-4-6i)(-4+6i)]
=(-32+18+60i)/[16+32]
=(-14+60i)/52
=(-7+30i)/26
So multiply both numerator and denominator of the "fraction" by the conjugate of the denominator:
(8-3i)/(-4-6i)
=(8-3i)(-4+6i)/[(-4-6i)(-4+6i)]
=(-32+18+60i)/[16+32]
=(-14+60i)/52
=(-7+30i)/26
