Is it important to start children in school according to the normal ages where they go through different mental stages?

I notice that the same information is presented to children throughout the educational system but at different times so that the child will be able to process it differently. Do you agree?

The schools should adapt to each child's individual mental stage. I disagree with the first statement, but agree with the second one.
