what is text clues?

Answers

Ms. Sue
Text clues are the meanings you pick up from reading a sentence or paragraph.

For instance, suppose you read:

Everyone came to the family hacienda for a wonderful meal prepared by grandma.

The context of "hacienda" makes it pretty clear that it's a home or house.

In addition, <B>Ms. Sue</B>'s example of "hacienda" might also give you the clue that the cultural context is Hispanic.

I hope this helps a little more. Thanks for asking.
